Acupuncture in Gwynedd and Anglesey
At J.W. Health & Physio we also practice the ancient form of medicine, acupuncture. Used as a medical treatment for over 3,000 years, fine needles are inserted into specific points in the body over channels called meridians, to give pain relief and help harmonise and balance bodily functions. There are many scientific studies to prove its effectiveness in many conditions.
While a very useful health treatment in its own right, when combined with physiotherapy it can be even more effective in the treatment of many physical ailments.
Following careful consultation, our fully trained acupuncturist can help the body heal naturally with acupuncture to relieve the problems associated with stress, anxiety and pain. This makes many other treatments more effective and this is why we like to combine it with your physiotherapy treatment when appropriate.
